For the Realme 8-series 5G model, the updated specs list is expected to exceed what Realme has to offer with its latest smartphone. The 5G model is rumored to have been in the works for several weeks. Along with Sheth’s confirmation, the Realme 8 5G has appeared on the website of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand.
Sheth posted a tweet announcing the arrival of the 5G variant of the Realme 8 series. He said the new models were “in the final stages of testing and early rollout”. However, he did not provide a specific schedule or pricing information about the 5G variant of the Realme 8 series.
Nevertheless, a listing was found on the NBTC website indicating the presence of the Realme 8 5G among the new variants. The phone is listed with the model number RMX3241, which is different from the 4G-capable Realme 8 with the model number RMX3085.
The NBTC listing does not include the specifications for the Realme 8 5G. However, based on the company’s historical record, it is expected that the new model will have some similarities to its 4G model.
In addition to the Realme 8 5G, a phone with a similar model number RMX3242 is said to have been certified in India. This indicates that the new model could soon be rolled out to the country.
