www.rancakmedia.com – Google Search recently announced that Google search has become an important tool for online learning and education. Google is working to find answers to STEM concepts and complex equations, and to display 3D graphs of chemistry.
The search giant is rolling out five tools it believes will help students, parents and teachers make better use of online learning resources. This is part of Google’s LEARN initiative, which is currently only supported in English. More languages are expected to be added soon.
Google announced the changes in a blog post and announced that Search will have educational summaries, useful examples, and helpful videos from the Internet on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) concepts.
The company has also introduced a Practice Questions tab which allows users to practice math, physics, and chemistry problems directly from a Google search. It offers learning resources from websites such as BBC Bitesize, Byju’s, Careers360, Chegg, CK-12, Educational Quiz, Gradeup, Great Minds, Kahoot!, OpenStax, Toppr, Vedantu and many more.
The company plans to bring 3D augmented reality to users with more than 200 concepts of anatomy, biology, chemistry and physics. Google will also provide solutions to simple and complex math equations to help users do their homework.
Google Lens gives users step-by-step access to solutions in more than 70 languages which will be expanded on later. The search also reveals detailed explanations for specific and targeted problems for complex STEM concepts.
This feature is available for the mobile and desktop versions of Google Search. The company is also developing this service to support screen readers and improve keyboard input for users with motor disabilities.
In other search-related news from Google, the search engine is provided with a “Full Reporting” feature that allows users to get a complete report on a news. This new feature is useful for complex messages that are constantly updated from various sources.
