www.rancakmedia.com – The Apple MacBook Pro is one of the last Intel-based laptops made by the company that is still available to buy and sell online at a huge discount. Apple’s current MacBook product line has transitioned to the in-house M1 chipset last year. Intel-based MacBook Pro 13 is currently available with 256GB or 512GB of storage. On Amazon, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Intel i5 processor and 256 GB SSD is currently being offered at a discounted price of Rs. 99,990.
XDA developers were the first to find sales of the MacBook Pro on Amazon. It is offered for Rs. 99,990, which is almost Rs.18,000 less than its original price. The e-commerce platform also offers exchange discounts of up to Rs. 18,000 for the 256 GB storage option. The 512GB storage variant is available for retail for Rs 1,41,719, which is roughly Rs 1,200 below its original price.
Apple MacBook Pro 13 comes with a Magic keyboard with scissor switch. It is powered by an 8th generation Intel i5 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. It also has a 13.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a Thunderbolt 3 port and a touch bar.
The price cut makes it an attractive proposition, but the M1-powered MacBook laptops have proven to be faster than the Intel-powered MacBook laptops. The M1-powered Macbook Pro costs Rs. 1,22,900 and M1-powered MacBook Air available for Rs. 92,900.
In other MacBook related news, Apple plans to introduce OLED screens for iPad and MacBook models in the near future. The 10.9-inch OLED iPad is reportedly under development and could be released as early as 2022. However, Apple has not released any official information regarding this.
