How to Take Advantage of the Find My Device Application Features For Android – Many Android users are not aware of the convenience of this feature: Find My Device. This feature is made easier because several technology companies have jointly connected between devices and have improved services to find lost devices.
Call it Google, which already has a Find My Device service or Find My Device that allows users to search for the presence of their Android device. For some Android users, you can take advantage of the existing Find My Device service.
However to make sure the device can be found a lost device must:
- In the ON state
- Login to Google Account
- Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data

Now if these conditions are met, the way to find my phone is as follows:
- Go to android.com/find and sign in to your Google Account. If you have more than one phone, click the missing phone at the top of the screen. And if the lost phone has more than one user profile, sign in with the Google Account that is on the main profile.
- Then the lost phone will get a notification. On the map, you will get info about the location of the phone. Locations shown are approximate and may not be accurate. If your phone can’t be found, you’ll see its last known location, if available.
- Choose what you want to do.
- Secure your device: Lock your phone with a PIN, pattern, or password. If you don’t have a key, you can set one. To help someone get their phone back, you can add a message or phone number to the lock screen.
- Wipe device: Permanently erases all data on your phone (but may not erase the SD card). Once you delete it, the Find My Device app will not work on the phone.
It’s important to note that if your phone is found after the data is deleted, you may need your Google Account password to use it again.
