1. Download Alight Motion

2. Start a new project
The next step after downloading and registering an Alight Motion account is to start a new project.
In the initial view of Alight Motion there is a plus icon (+) at the bottom center. Click the button to start a new project. Then follow the directions given.
3. Manage project
After clicking the add icon, you will be directed to manage the project. Starting from the project name, framerate, resolution, and background.
Organize the project as needed so that later when the project is finished, there is no need to replace it again. So there is no need to go back and forth to the previous step. Of course this will save time working on the content.
4. Insert photo or video
After the new project has set the framerate, resolution, and background, enter the photo or video that will be edited.

5. Create Keyframes
After the photo, video, or text has been imported into the project, it cannot be directly given effects and other editing tools. Because Alight Motion will continue to give a warning to create a keyframe first.

- Click the part to be given a keyframe
- The editing tool will automatically be displayed
- Click move & transition
- Look for the diamond icon at the bottom left of the screen
- Set the keyframe to be created. You can zoom in or out on photos and videos, move the writing position, rotation or other desired movements.
- Click the diamond icon. Make sure the plus sign (+) that was in the diamond turns into a minus sign (-)
- On the timeline you will see a diamond icon in the section given the keyframe
- Set to a minimum of 2 . keyframes
6. Keyframe Creation Complete
When you have successfully affixed the keyframe, don’t forget to preview it first. If there is a wrong keframe or needs to be fixed, you don’t have to worry about repeating the entire project from scratch.
Simply position in the timeline the duration of the footage you want to change, then click the diamond icon. The minus sign (-) in the diamond will change to a plus sign (+). That’s a sign that you can start creating a new keyframe.
After feeling that the edits are in accordance with the wishes, the next step is to give effect to the content. This time, Alight Motion won’t give you the required keyframe warning anymore because you’ve already completed the task.
To adjust the keyframe position, you can use the curve on the graphic icon below the keyframe icon. Or it could be by zooming as large as you wish.
If you want to add effects to the content, you can click the plus sign (+) at the bottom left corner of the smartphone screen and the effect options will be automatically displayed.
