Keyframe Uses

To produce perfect content, animators will use keyframes as a tool to help them. This keyframe is the main frame used in the animation creation process.

Keyframe is a foundation or foundation before doing the editing steps. All animators or content creators should understand keyframes and how to create them.

Like building a house without a foundation, an animation cannot run without an underlying keyframe.

Keyframe is the main key to add various kinds of effects to the project. Like visual effects, zoom in, zoom out, move, or other effects can’t be added if you don’t have a keyframe. This is because there is no sign indicating when the effect is applied.

In general, keyframes are divided into two namely:

  • Keyframe that describes the scene or action, and
  • Keyframe whose function is to provide information. Starting from when the scene will start and when it will end or be replaced.

The two keyframes are created one by one first. When both are finished, the animator will combine the two into a single unit in the animated video.

  • The editing tool will automatically be displayed

Simply position in the timeline the duration of the footage you want to change, then click the diamond icon. The minus sign (-) in the diamond will change to a plus sign (+). That’s a sign that you can start creating a new keyframe.

After feeling that the edits are in accordance with the wishes, the next step is to give effect to the content. This time, Alight Motion won’t give you the required keyframe warning anymore because you’ve already completed the task.

To adjust the keyframe position, you can use the curve on the graphic icon below the keyframe icon. Or it could be by zooming as large as you wish.

If you want to add effects to the content, you can click the plus sign (+) at the bottom left corner of the smartphone screen and the effect options will be automatically displayed.

But if you don’t have time to set it all up, you can use presets that can be found on social media such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, even Youtube or Chrome.

All the choices are yours, the content creator. The discussion about the Alight Motion keyframe is finished, starting from how to create it and also its use.
