- First of all, download the Webex app on your smartphone. if you’re using Android, you can just scroll to the Google Play Store app to find it. But if you use IOs, you can download it through the App Store.
- If you are a meeting participant, you can join directly without the need to register first. Simply by pressing the ‘Join Meeting’ menu.

- After that, enter the URL that was previously shared by the host, as well as the name and email address. If so, click ‘Join’.
- If you want to host a meeting on Webex, you have to login first. Simply by clicking the ‘Sign In’ menu available on the main page, enter your email address and password. Then click ‘Next’.

1. Download the Webex Application on your Laptop

2. Join the Webex Meeting as a Guest
When you choose not to register for a Webex account, you can use the Use as Guest option available on the first page of the application. Then enter your name and email address, followed by pressing the ‘Continue as Guest’ button.
3. Start Joining the Meeting
After that, a new window will open. Enter the URL link that has been shared by the Host in the ‘Join a Meeting’ column. Then, click ‘Join’ to enter the conference.
4. Login to the Webex Laptop Application
If you are the host, enter the email address that was previously registered. Then click ‘Next’.
5. Start Creating a New Meeting Room
In a new window that appears, select the menu ‘create a new meeting’. Next, press the ‘Start a Meeting’ menu which is usually located at the top of the Webex application.
6. Ensure Video and Audio Connection
Make sure the video and audio connection first before joining the meeting. Whether both can work properly or not. If it feels appropriate, click ‘Start Meeting’.
7. Invite Friends to Meeting Room
A Host’s job apart from setting up a meeting room is to invite meeting participants. To be able to do this, you only need to share the URL link and Meeting Number which can be obtained by pressing the ‘i’ icon on the left side of the Webex application window.
8. Ending the Meeting on the Webex Laptop Application
To end and leave the meeting room, press the red X icon in the upper right corner of the application page.
