WARNING: It is recommended that the Word application used is version 2022 and above. If it’s under 2022 I don’t guarantee it will work using this method.

1. Open the Microsoft Word application
2. Click File in the upper left corner, find the PDF file that you want to convert to Word.
3. A warning will appear from Microsoft Word, that the PDF file will be converted to an editable Word file. Click “OK”.
4. Now the PDF file has been turned into Word and you can edit it.
5. To save it, click file > save as > select word document > click “save”.

You can do the steps above as one way to convert a pdf file to word so that it can be edited.

2. Using Google Docs

Currently, there are more and more users of Google Docs Services and maybe you are one of them. You can use Google Docs to convert pdf to word.

1. Open Google Drive, click + add new on the top left.
2. Select upload file > upload the PDF file that you want to convert
3. Once the file is uploaded, right-click on the PDF file > open with > Google Docs.
4. Now the file has changed from PDF to Doc. You can do editing if there is something you want to change from the document.
5. To change to word, click file > hover over download > select Microsoft Word (.docx).
6. The file will be automatically downloaded to your laptop/PC in .docx or Word format.

3. Using the UniPDF App

UniPDF is indeed a specialist application for converting PDF files to various formats, one of which is Word. This application is free, but if you want to buy a paid version there is also one.

1. Download the UniPDF application here, then install it.
2. Open the UniPDF APP
3. First, go to settings first. Set it like the image below.
4. Click add or the + sign at the bottom left.
5. Select the file to be converted.
6. After that, select the output you want. There are 4 choices, namely Word, Image, Text, and HTML. Here we select Word.
7. Then click Convert
8. The file will be saved in the same folder as the PDF file.

3. Click Select PDF File.

2. Click Upload Files.
3. You can convert more than one PDF file at a time. My example here converts two files at once.
4. You can click the download button provided under each document or directly click download all. If you choose to click download all then the downloaded file will be in ZIP format and you have to extract it later.

You can convert PDF to Word on your cellphone using the application, Google Docs, or the Online Converter site.

If you use Google Docs and Online Converter Sites on your cellphone, the method is exactly the same as on a laptop/PC.

You can also use the following applications to convert pdf to word on your cellphone.

2. Open the application, select PDF to DOC.

4. Once found, immediately click Convert. Wait until the process is complete.
5. The converted PDF will appear in the Converted menu.
6. The file will be saved in the Internal Storage folder > PdfConverterNew

3. Fast PDF to Word Convert

How to use this application to convert pdf to word:

1. Download the Fast PDF to Word Convert application.
2. Open the application, you can directly select the PDF to be converted. To make it easier, you can use the search feature at the top.
3. Once the PDF file is open, click the plus sign ( + ) at the bottom right.
4. Select PDF to DOC. Wait until the conversion process is complete.
5. Check the convert results in Internal Storage > PDF_TO_DOC folder

If you don’t have the application, you can use an online PDF converter or download the UniPDF application.
