Sony released the first gameplay of The Last of Us Part 2 during the press conference at E3 2022 this morning, maybe this will be the best game to compete against God of War and Detroit: Become Human. In the previous sequel, Naughty Dog managed to get awards and success because it managed to present a storyline, cool graphics, plus a very supportive soundtrack.
If in the previous sequel the storyline was about Joel, in this latest sequel the storyline will focus on Ellie who has now grown up. The 11-minute gameplay opens with Ellie talking to a man while watching the party around them. Then another female character appears and takes Ellie to the dance floor, Ellie and the female character do a “kiss” scene. And suddenly the scene immediately turned tense and the gameplay footage opened with Ellie stabbing a man’s neck to death in the middle of the forest. You can see the gameplay trailer below.

From there Ellie walked sneakily not far from it saw a bunch of enemies were seen demonizing a hanging man. Ellie begins to draw her bow and arrow and shoots several enemies, and is accidentally seen by the enemy then Ellie begins to do ranged combat with her ax.
And the enemy signaled to his friends by whistling suddenly another enemy came and Ellie ran away from her enemies, Ellie was surrounded and crawled under the truck and started again fighting silently. Then at the end of the video, the “kiss” scene reappears as at the beginning of the video.
I think it’s a cool and intense trailer that shows the brutality of The Last of Us Part 2 as well as a more dramatic atmosphere, more detailed environmental effects, more solid gameplay and still manages to put a cool soundtrack behind because this is the latest game so the graphics are also very captivating. Sony has not provided a release date for this game, and it will only be available exclusively on the Playstation 4.
