It’s been 10 months since the global release of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard announced that Capcom failed to meet its sales target of 4 million copies last March, and seven months later now in October that target has been achieved, according to the game’s official website. In a recent report by Capcom, many games fell short of their targets, including Street Fighter 5. There are cases where games that don’t meet their targets may be a problem for developers. But if you look closely, Resident Evil 7 is the most successful series of its predecessors. Well this is a big change but well received by gamers.
Capcom still hopes that sales of this game will forever reach 10 million copies, is it possible? But the possibility can happen with the release of the Gold Edition later.
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition is slated for release on December 12, 2022, and will include Banned Footage DLC, followed by End of Zoe DLC. The DLC for The Not a Hero is likely to be released this spring for free.
