In terms of appearance, this laptop seems quite modern. Unfortunately this display does not provide anything flashy. When compared to MSI and Razer gaming laptops that have backlights on their logos, this laptop certainly feels more normal. Although not unique, it looks quite serviceable.

For the screen, ACER Nitro 7 has a size of 15.6 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This screen also has a narrow bezel that maximizes the screen size and certainly feels more elegant. As a gaming laptop, this screen has a pretty satisfying refresh rate at 144Hz with sharp and blur-free display capabilities.

For a side view, this laptop seems thin when compared to its sister, namely the ACER Nitro 5. This is because the casing used only has a thickness of 19.9mm. Even though it’s thinner, this doesn’t mean what’s inside is of a lower class. This thin appearance ensures that the laptop is easy to carry but still brings high-performance gaming laptops that are solid.

This high spec is of course only part of the other advantages of this laptop. For features, you will get many things that will certainly support your gaming capabilities with Nitro 7. This first feature is audio technology, namely Waves MaxxAudio.

This audio technology can distinguish between the voice of human communication with various other sounds. This allows you to differentiate in-game audio from communication from your teammates when playing multiplayer. In addition, this audio is able to clarify the ambience and simulate the sound more clearly. Without noise and distortion, you can enjoy game audio better.

Nitro 7 also uses Killer Ethernet E2500 and Network Optimizer provided by Acer. This feature ensures you get a better and stable internet speed. Of course, you can only enjoy this if you use an ethernet cable and not Wi-Fi.

For those of you who want to stream games to the internet, this laptop already has a build in system that can make the process easier. Using Nitro Stream technology with the same capabilities as PC Streaming Personal (PSPC) but with the use of plug and play. So there’s no need to bother setting up for streaming purposes, just set everything up using Nitro Stream and you can start broadcasting directly without the need for any other tools or programs.

ACER Nitro 7 . Performance

From the specs given, you already know that this laptop is quite high in performance. From several game benchmark tests, you can get a stable 60FPS at 1080p resolution. This ability can still be driven even higher, if you achieve an overclock on the CPU and also use games with a spec that is not too high.

In terms of using the keyboard, this laptop is commendable. The quality of the keys and the response of the keyboard are above average and even outperform some other gaming laptops that are more expensive. Although it looks simple with a red backlight behind it, for feel and use, this laptop feels its premium quality. Unfortunately, the quality of this keyboard is not accompanied by a touchpad of the same level. The touchpad of this laptop seems ordinary in terms of function and feel.

Another interesting thing about the performance of this laptop is its cooling capability. This laptop does not use a complex system such as a liquid cooling system, but its temperature control capabilities need to be applauded. The ACER Nitro 7 is equipped with the CoolBoost system. This system ensures the fan runs 19 times faster than the fans commonly found on normal laptops.

There are two fans with this system which are placed separately on this laptop. Both are connected with different exhaust ports to cover the temperature creation evenly. Although this makes the laptop sound quite loud when it is working optimally, you can feel the difference when playing. Using an overclock can make the laptop heat up quickly, but thanks to this cooler, ACER Nitro 7 can work optimally for a long time and remain stable in terms of temperature.

Conclusion

This ACER Nitro 7 laptop is a pretty good gaming laptop for those of you who want to have a mid-range gaming laptop at a price of 15 to 20 million Rupiah. In terms of processing speed, temperature control system, convenience of use, sharp and fast display and good audio, all are positive things that are quite satisfying from this gaming laptop from ACER.

Unfortunately, for those of you who are easily disturbed by the noise of the fan. Maybe this laptop doesn’t feel right. In addition, although thin and compact, the appearance of this laptop is also ordinary. For those of you who like the appearance of a striking gaming laptop with an RGB backlight feature, for example, you may be disappointed to see the appearance of this laptop.

The decision to choose this laptop of course remains in your hands. Are you interested in this laptop? Still not satisfied with what was given? You can weigh – weigh again before deciding to buy.
