The iOS mobile version of the phenomenal game Fortnite Battle Royale is back in full swing, the latest in 2 months since its public release on March 15, 2022. Fortnite Mobile’s revenue has surpassed USD 50 Million (Rp 694 Billion) According to the latest report from Sensor Tower’s mobile analysis.

Fortnite had previously broken records with USD 25 Million in just 30 days. Now his earnings have doubled since Season 4 started. Quoted again from SensorTower if players on May 1 2022 yesterday in-game sales grew 293 percent, almost four times an increase compared to the previous Tuesday.

Earnings have quadrupled very quickly since Season 4 started and players flocked to the Fortnite Battle Pass Season 4, to unlock additional content and complete special challenges during Season 4.

This Fortnite game from Epic Games is a free game available on PC, consoles, and iOS phones. Epic Games’ main income is selling in-game items such as Battle Pass, V-Bucks, Outfits, Emotes and many more. This significant increase of up to 4x in the mobile version may also apply to the PC or console versions.

Currently Fortnite Mobile is only available for Apple smartphone users and can be downloaded for free on the App Store, I can’t imagine there will be a record, especially if Epic Games finally releases the Android version.

When compared to its main rival, PUBG Mobile, again quoted from SensorTower.com who recently tried to compare the 2 mobile versions of the battle royale game. The first week earnings between PUBG Mobile and Fortnite are quite significant. Fortnite Mobile USD 3.7 million (Rp 51 billion), and PUBG Mobile at USD 700 thousand (Rp 9.7 billion)

This difference in income is probably based on an ineffective strategy. Both games offer the option of purchasing in-game items, but the method is different, if PUBG Mobile presents a lootbox of random items which more often produces items that are less useful. Whereas Fortnite offers unique items that are available for a limited time.
