Concurrent Players Fortnite: Battle Royale Breaks 800,000

The developer Epic Games of Fortnite: Battle Royale is now steadily climbing to the top as a popular game. This PUBG-like multiplayer battle royale game has now crossed 811,000 concurrent players (CCU) last weekend, Epic report on Twitter. Due to the huge demand, there were some server issues, but Epic says it’s “working hard” to keep the game up and running smoothly.

This new record breaks the previous record of 525,000 concurrent players. The game, which was just released last September, has accelerated very rapidly, seeing that at the time of release it was immediately played by 1 million players.

Like the PUBG game, Fortnite: Battle Royale takes on a similar gameplay in that it puts 100 players on one map and it kills or gets killed until only one player is left. But in Fortnite it has different features from PUBG, in Fortnite you can build walls, stairs to take cover.

Will Fortnite continue to stay in this top spot or will it continue to top popular games? We’ll see at another time, and if you haven’t played it yet, try playing it because it’s free by downloading it on the official Epic Games website.
