Since its release a week ago, the Xbox One X has received a positive response in the UK market, as evidenced by the successful sale of 80,000 units a week after its release. Retailers have shared data revealing that Microsoft’s newest console sold as many units as possible in the first week, beating the Nintendo Switch’s record of 67,000 last March.
And beat the PS4 Pro’s first week sales of 50,000 in November 2022. It took four weeks for the PS4 Pro to reach the same number as the Xbox One X.
It is suspected that sales of PS4 Pro and Switch in the first week were not good because of a lack of stock which made sales less than Xbox One X. The average sale was the Project Scorpio version. Of course with this, it’s a good performance for Microsoft.
Will sales of the Xbox One X continue to be as successful as its predecessor? Look forward to further news.
The best-selling Xbox One game of the week was Call of Duty: WWII, followed by Assassin’s Creed Origins (which was promoted by system), FIFA 18 and the Forza duo: Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 3.
