Finally, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja confirmed today that the popular fighting game series Dead or Alive is getting a sixth series called Dead or Alive.
The latest game series developed by Team Ninja was announced with a short 1 minute video trailer showing several new things and now using a new engine, ranging from environmental destruction, bruising effects, higher visuals and more realistic facial expressions besides the game will be ready on 4K resolution. The short trailer also reveals six playable characters: Ryu Hayabusa, Kasumi, Hayate, Helena, Jann Lee, and Zack.
From another IGN report, Dead or Alive will also introduce new characters into this series, and Team Ninja has also chosen to lower the level of sensuality in female fighters who in the previous series such as the characters Helena and Kasumi were too scantily dressed.
The sequel will also introduce new mechanics called Fatal Rush and Break Gauge, described as powerful attacks using simplified commands, aimed at giving new players a way into the 22-year-old series.
Later on, each character will have access to the Special Button (R1 on PS4 and RB on Xbox One) for Fatal Rush special attack / powerful combination attack.
Meanwhile, when the Break Gauge is full, you can rate an attack called a Break Blow – an attack with a large amount of damage. Then there is The Break Hold – a counter attack system with low damage but will always work against Low, Mid or High.
Through the official website, DoA 6 said it would provide further information on June 11, perhaps June 12, West Indonesia Time, when the E3 2022 event took place.
Dead or Alive is slated for release in early 2022 and is available on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. Keep watching our website to receive more information.
