
Fifteen people who made and traded PUBG game cheats have been arrested and fined a total of $5.1m or around 70 billion Rupiah. In the Steam developer post page PUBG Bluehole said there may be other suspects and is still under further investigation.

“Some of the hack programs distributed over the internet include the Huigezi Trojan horse (China backdoor) virus. It is proven that the developer hack use this virus to control users’ PCs, scan their data, and extract information illegally.”
In the end of the post Bluehole also added “We will continue to crack down on hack/cheat programs, until our players are free to fight in a truly fair environment,” added Bluehole.
