PUBG Developer Promises to Improve Stronger Anti-Cheat System

Cheats are no stranger to any video game, but for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, this is a serious problem. Just imagine in a day the pubg anti-cheat system was banned more than 42,000 players daily, but it’s still not enough, with some games compromised by hackers. It is a fact that the development team apologized in advance, adding that it introduced new measures to catch players who spoil the game for others.

The team will roll out “additional actions” that are currently designed to detect “unusual gameplay patterns”. Any account thrown by the system will be suspended and investigated. A further patch next week will also support cheat detection.

“We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by cheaters and we apologize that you have not been able to enjoy PUBG in a safe and fair environment. Our development team is doing their best to detect and ban those using cheats in a more proactive way,” the team said in a Steam post.

“We will continue our research and development to build a better system to combat cheaters. We will take stronger action to find and prohibit cheaters, while at the same time being careful not to hurt innocent players.”
