How to Forward Calls Without Additional Apps
Although this feature of diverting phone calls is very well known, not many people can practice it. Because usually the menus that must be arranged are quite complicated and confusing.

1. Divert Calls On Android Phones
The first method that you can practice is specifically for cellphones with the Android operating system.
Given that most smartphone users have the Android operating system.
Here’s how to divert calls on Android:
- Open your Android phone and tap on the menu “Arrangement“.
- After that look for the menu that says “Call Settings“. If not, just look for a menu that contains call settings.
- Go to options’More Settings‘.

2. Divert Calls on an iPhone
iPhones are known to have a slightly more complicated setup than Android. The location for enabling the call forwarding feature is also different from Android.

- Activate your iPhone and tap menu “Settings“.
- Then the next step is to find the menu writing “Phone” and tap.
- Next, look for the words “Call Forwarding” or in Indonesian “Call Forward“.
- If so, tap on the text “forward to” or “Forward To“.
- Now at the stage after that, you have to fill in the destination number of the call divert.
After that the call forwarding feature on the iPhone is active.
If you want to turn off the feature, you can return to the menu above and delete the number to which the call is diverted.
3. Forward Calls On Windows Phones
Windows-based smartphone users can also use this feature.

Here’s how to divert calls on Windows Phone.
- First, open your Windows cellphone and tap on the menu “Start“.
- Then look for the menu with the words “Phone” or “Phone“.
- The next step is to tap on the words “More” or “Other“.
- If it’s already in the next menu, look for it and tap on the words “Settings“.
- In the phone’s settings menu, tap on a button next to “Call Forwarding” or “Call Forward“. Make sure the button you tap has changed to “On“.
- After that, you will be asked to enter the phone number to which you want to divert calls. Fill in correctly so there is no wrong recipient.
- When you’re done, you can press the “Save” and the call has been completely diverted.
- Make sure that the numbers diverted to calls are correct. Then turn off that feature if call forwarding is enough.
How to Switch Phones Through Apps

This alternative way of diverting calls will be done with the help of third-party applications.
So you only need to do the settings in the third-party application.
After that call divert will be activated. For more details, here are some of these applications and how to use them:
1. Call Forwarding Lite
The first application you can use is called Call Forwarding Lite. As the name implies, this call divert application has a small size.
So it will not make your storage capacity full.
How to divert calls with this application is also very easy and very simple.
Because in it already available several buttons to divert calls from certain numbers. Here’s how to use it:
- First, make sure you have downloaded the Call Forwarding Lite application.
- Once installed, open and run the application.
- On the first page, you have to press a button with the inscription “All Call“.
- After you press it, a notification will appear that says “Your Code is Ready” and will switch to the Dial Pad.
- Now at this stage, hold down on the available column and tap the sticky text. Then a series of call divert codes will appear and tap call.
- Then your cellphone screen will bring up a notification dialog box.
- Pay attention to the notification. Make sure it says “Setting Activation Succeeded“. If the text appears then the call forwarding process has been successful.
- If you want to turn off the call divert feature, you have to return to the main page of the application earlier.
- Then tap on the column that says “deactivate“.
- After that copy and paste the code that appears on the Dial Pad as in the previous step.
- Wait until a dialog box pops up with a notification that call forwarding is turned off.
2. Easy Call Forwarding
In addition to the applications above, there is still a recommendation for a call forwarding application called Easy Call Forwarding.
The function of this application is to simplify the process of diverting calls as in the previous application. Here’s how to use it:
- First download the Easy Call Forwarding application on the Playstore.
- Run the application as usual.
- Then on the first page, there will be a description of the initial settings in the form of the SIM Card position.
- If the number you want to divert when there is a call on SIM 1, then tap “Configure” in the SIM 1 column. And vice versa for SIM 2.
- After that, fill in the column that says “Destination number” as the call divert destination number.
- Then fill in the column “Provider” with “Standard/Default” and press “Save” top right corner.
- Wait until there is a notification and make sure it has the words “Registration was successful”
- Then go back to the first page and swipe “Forwarding is disabled” Becomes “Forwarding is enabled“. To turn it off, just replace it like the initial position.
Actually how to divert calls is not so difficult. But what makes it confusing is the menu position of each HP is different.
