- After that a dialog box will appear, then you select “Microsoft Office Excel“.
- After that you press “Recover Application“.
Workbooks that have been damaged can also be opened using Microsoft WordPad. The only alternative to WordPad can convert all existing data into a single text.
However, WordPad cannot recover all the formulas. However, using WordPad can at least restore your important data.
WordPad can also restore a VBS procedure (macros) which can be searched in recovered text for Sub and Function.
The corrupted xls file could possibly be opened using Word, but again the data is the only thing that can be recovered even though the resulting output is very messy.
2. Perform Repair Using MS Excel APK
When we open an excel file that has been damaged, the apk will automatically restore data, but if the recovery process runs very slowly, there is no harm in doing it manually.
