Install Simple Screen Recorder on Ubuntu
For Ubuntu 17.04 and later, Simple Screen Recorder is available on official repository Ubuntu. You can do it right away updates and install it without having to add a PPA repository first.
If you are using a version of Ubuntu before Ubuntu 17.04, you can install Simple Screen Recorder via PPA repositories. Not only Ubuntu, with this tutorial you can also install Simple Screen Recorder on Ubuntu-derived distros, such as Linux Mint and so on.
Open Terminal by pressing shortcuts / combination CTRL + ALT + T on the keyboard or open Terminal via the application menu.
Once Terminal is open, enter the following command in Terminal to add the PPA repository from Simple Screen Recorder. To make it easier, you cancopy the following command and then do paste on Terminal by pressing the keyboard combination / shortcuts CTRL + SHIFT + V on the keyboard.
