Connecting Autocad with Google Earth Using Plex Earth. I haven’t posted in a while because I have a lot of work to do. In accordance with the title, maybe some of you are still wondering or maybe you don’t know if you can picture which in Autocad displayed to Google Earth? The answer is very yes :-).
For example, if you want to make a drawing of your plot of land in Autocad, but you doubt whether the drawing of the plot of land that you have drawn is in accordance with the physical field or not, whether the slope of the plot of land is appropriate or not. By connecting Autocad directly to Google Earth, you don’t need to doubt that the shape of your plot of land is wrong, because directly the size of the plot of land that you have drawn can be checked directly on Google Earth.
Apps that can link between Autocad and Google Earth is Plex Earth. This application provides many types of choices Coordinates which is used in various countries, one of which is Indonesiadepending on what type of coordinates you want to use.
Okay, I’m not going to talk at length anymore, let’s go straight to the main topic. (My hands are also sore when I type. hehehe….
The applications that must be installed on your computer are:
- Autocad Map 3D (Autocad that admin uses is Autocad Map 3D 2010)
- Google Earth Pro
- Plex Earth
If using Windows 64 bit there will be problems when connecting between Google Earth and Google Earth Plexscapelater the admin will discuss in the next stage, here the admin uses Win 7 32 bit.
Bro open Autocad Map bro with the app Plex Earth already installed in it. roughly it looks like this bro.
Now in the picture above, you can see that there are so many choices of coordinates that can be used in Indonesia. If the Student Blog admin usually uses UTM coordinates because GPS is equipped with UTM coordinates with Zone 47.1 N, the zone depends on the area where you live. So after taking the coordinates, you can directly publish or check the position of the plot of land on Google Earth whether the position is right or not, here you have to choose the type of coordinates according to the zone where you live.

After opening Google Earth, look for the plot of land that you want to draw the plot of land for. As an example, here I will draw a plot of land with a red arrow. If you have found the plot of land that you want to draw, open the AutoCAD again. Don’t close Google Earth, bro or don’t move it from the plot of land that you want to draw, or it won’t connect…

After Synchronize Autocad is clicked, now we enter the fourth stage, Displaying Google Earth images to AutoCAD-
- Show google earth drawings to autocad
At this stage, you are required to take or capture an image on Google Earth and display it to Autocad. At this stage select Image Area. After you click the block image area of the entire AutoCAD screen, then the Autocad layer will appear like the next image.
Now it’s time for you to draw right above the bid

In the picture above which is red, you can see the picture that I made right above the plot of land. so the possibility of plane slope error is very small. After the image that you made is complete, it’s time for the image that you made earlier to be sent or displayed on Google Earth. How to display it, you select Public Objects in Plex Earth, after you select the image block that you created earlier, just draw the plot of land that is blocked, bro, don’t follow the image to the block, 
After you block, press enter, there will be an option in the command its like this”[1=Clamped/2=Absolute/3=Relative]”Just press the number 1 bro
