Sony has recently announced that the sequel to God of War (2022) has been postponed to 2022 with no definite release date. God of War Ragnarok itself is planned to be launched for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Head of PlayStation Studios – Herman Hulst announced this news via PlayStation.Blog in a question and answer session, which discussed the plans that PlayStation Studios would take in the future.

Meanwhile, Hulst also confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West is still in the early plans for this year’s holiday season. The reason they delayed the release of God of War 2 itself, of course, was to want to provide the best quality when it was released later.
Sony currently confirms that they are working hard to develop their two big games, namely God of War and Horizon Forbidden West. For Horizon, they are planning to release in the holiday season this year, but this is not really certain.
