It turns out that because of this Umar was hated and killed

Islamic information regarding the reasons why Umar was so hated and tragically killed by the Persians, turned out to be so heartbreaking, not only that the hatred of the Persians or what is now called the Iranian state is still continuing. Actually, what is the history behind it?

Assalamualaikum to all Muslim friends, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent, there were two great empires that were respected by the Arabs, namely the Roman Empire, which was Christian and the Persian Empire, which was Magian. The religious teachings of the Magi are known for their worship of the sun, moon, water, and fire. They believe that there are two Gods of creation, a god who creates good, namely light and one who creates evil, namely darkness. The two gods are always enemies until the Day of Resurrection.

In front of the Persian empire at that time the Arabs were a lowly nation. They saw the Arabs as slaves who had no dignity at all. During the lifetime of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam, letters were sent to three kings to convert to Islam. The first letter to the king of Egypt, he responded by sending a gift to the prophet, the second king of eastern Rome, Byzantium, whose capital was Constantinople, responded simply, as for the third letter to the Persian emperor who tore up the prophet’s letter because he felt insulted.

The nascent Arab Islam with a small territory but presumptuous forced the leader of the Persian superpower to convert to Islam. Hearing the torn letter of the Prophet sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam then said: “The Persian kingdom will also be torn apart as he tore my letter”.

After the death of the Prophet sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq led for 2 years. Persia began to interfere with the border area of Muslim sovereignty. Abu Bakr then sent Khalid bin Walid ra, one of the friends of the victims of Shia abuse to answer the Persian challenge. The warlord Khalid who received the title Saifullah (Sword of Allah) by the Prophet sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam succeeded in defeating every battle with the Persian imperial troops, which were always more numerous than Muslims. More than 100 thousand Persian soldiers died in clashes with Khalid’s troops, meaning that more than 50,000 wives and children of the Persian soldiers who died were angry and took revenge on Khalid.

After the fall of Persia, Khalid was moved to Medan, Syria, to face a large army in Byzantium who was also subdued by the flash of Khalid bin Walid’s sword. Caliph Abu Bakr died and was replaced by Umar Bin Khattab Radiallahu anhu as caliph. Umar appointed Saad bin Abi Waqqash in the decisive war in a terrible battle called the Qadisiah war which eventually led to the destruction of the Persian empire.

After the crushing defeat of Persia in front of the Muslims there was no other choice for the Persians but to surrender and convert to Islam but apparently not many of them were good Muslims, most of them converted to Islam because they were forced to even some of them converted to Islam by making treason and stabbing. Islam from within.

The Persians understood that the main character behind the destruction of their kingdom was Amirul Mu’minin Umar Bin Khattab Radiallahu anhu. They also cooperated with the Romans from the Jews in planning to kill Umar. Umar died stabbed by a poisoned dagger by Abu Luluh while leading prayers. Abu Luluh was a magi who pretended to convert to Islam but he held a grudge against Umar who during his leadership had made the 1000 year old Persian empire disappear from the face of the earth.

After the death of Umar Bin Khattab, it turns out that the Shia magi still have not stopped fighting him until now we can still see their habit of criticizing and insulting Umar Bin Khattab, even if we read their books we will find a lot of crimes and disbelief to the people. companions of the Prophet in general and in particular to Abu Bakr and Umar Bin Khattab. As an example mentioned in Roudlotul kaffi, these 2 people, namely Abu Bakr and Umar Bin Khattab, left the world and did not repent and did not remember what they had done to Amirul Mu’minin Ali Bin Abi, namely in the form of usurping power according to them.

On the other hand, we see how they were so sympathetic to the killer of Caliph Umar Bin Khattab, namely Abu Luluh, and even gave him the title as martyr, a martyr and a brave figure. They also made his grave located in the city of Kassan in Iran as a sacred place of worship.

This was the motive for the revenge of the Persians or Shiites against Umar so that the Shiites involved in their worship always cursed Umar, besides that they also cursed Abu Bakr, Usman, Aisyah, and Khalid bin Walid.
