Have you been exercising every day but still not losing weight? Not eating rice and not eating dinner still no significant progress. Sound familiar? In this post I want to share about the main key in losing weight that is proven to be effective.
The Key to Losing Weight Proven Effective
There are still many wrong perceptions circulating in the community regarding the rise and fall of a person’s weight, the most common examples being that rice makes you fat, eating late at night makes you fat, eating oily food also makes you fat, when in reality it’s not like that the theory can be much simpler than that. all.
Then what is the main key that affects the rise and fall of a person’s weight? the answer is calories. Surely the term calorie is familiar to us because we have often heard and often encountered it in our daily lives. If you buy a snack or food at a food stall or supermarket, the back of the package has calories written on it, or if you buy a drink bottle on the back it has calories written on it.
What are calories?
Understanding the calorie itself is still not common, then what is the meaning of calories? Calories are units. For example, the meter is a unit for measuring distance, or the gram is a unit for measuring weight. Well this calorie is a unit to measure the amount of energy produced by food or energy needed by our bodies.
What does that have to do with weight?
The human body requires energy for daily activities or activities from getting up in the morning and going to sleep at night. Like a car engine, a car engine also needs energy
From gasoline to move from point A to point B, for example, for example you go from Jakarta to Bandung, to travel from Jakarta to Bandung the car requires 15 liters of gasoline but before you leave, you fill up with 20 liters of gasoline, meaning when you arrive at your destination the car still has as much as 5 liters of gasoline that can be used for the next trip.
It’s the same with our bodies, the car is likened to your body and gasoline is likened to the food you eat, while the distance from Jakarta to Bandung is an activity you do from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night.
So if to carry out activities that day, your body only needs 1500 calories but what you consume is 2000 calories, then when the day ends there is still 500 calories of energy left. Now the rest of this energy will be stored in the body in the form of fat, resulting in weight gain. This condition is called surplus calories.
And vice versa if on that day your body needs as much as 2000 calories but you consume only 1500 calories, then the body lacks calories by 500 calories, and the body will take the lack of calories from fat stored in the body so that weight loss occurs. Such a condition is called calorie deficit.
This is the main key that affects the rise and fall of weight. So there is no need to misperceive, even if you have exercised, have not eaten rice, have not eaten at night, have not eaten oily food, as long as the number of calories you consume is higher than what your body needs, your weight will not decrease.
And vice versa, eat anything, however many times while the total calories consumed are lower than what is needed by the body, you can be sure you will experience weight loss.
One important thing to remember is that the size or volume of food does not affect the number of calories in the food. So the food that is small in size does not mean the calories are small, as well as the food that is large in volume does not mean the calories are large. For example, a plate of rice with a piece of brownie cake, the calories contained in a piece of brownie cake have more calories than a plate of rice.
We still often encounter this, many feel that they have eaten less but how come they are not thin, this is because the food consumed is small in size but does not make them full but the calories are large.
So what needs to be done is to choose foods that are large in size or volume but have small calories. To find out the number of calories in food you can search it on Google. For example, rice, you can type the search word “calories in white rice” and so on.
So now you know the key to losing weight. Good luck
