The Shape of the Earth According to the Global Elite

The Shape of the Earth According to the Global Elite

After previously misterhidayat discussed the shape of the earth according to the Muslim scientist Al Biruni and the shape of the earth according to the Qur’an, what are the opinions of the global elite?

Assalamualaikum all Muslim friends, so far, flat earth theory adherents believe that there are a handful of parties who rule the world, including in the realm of science and technology. That few parties are called Elite Global. Is that right?

Conspiracy theories should exist, let alone at the world level, even at the village level. Conspiracy or collusion to benefit one’s own group is not a strange thing anymore as long as this world was created by the creator.

Freemasons, Illuminati, and so on do exist, this is not a hoax or fake news because the organization itself does exist and there are confessions from a number of its own members even from historical references, but for conspiracy in the field of science it is illogical because of the nature of science. open and can be tested by anyone as long as it meets scientific principles.

One person who shows a theory or formulation is wrong, it will be corrected by millions of scientists who have tested it. Of the millions of scientists are all members of the global elite?

A number of medieval Muslim scientists such as Al Hamadzani, Al Biruni, and Al Khazini who stated the existence of Earth’s gravity or even Al-Idrisi the creator of the globe or the model of the globe, are they members of the Global Elite too?

Apart from a number of claims that Nasa’s achievements are false propaganda or hoaxes, this does not necessarily make the shape of the earth a hoax either, because long before Nasa existed, Muslim scientists had conducted research on this matter. The analogy might be like this, if there is a group of pharmaceutical companies doing evil conspiracy, it does not mean that the existence of drugs is a hoax.

The technology we enjoy today is proof that modern scientific theory is in line with qadarullah. If we trace back far, the origin of the flat earth concept itself comes from the beliefs of the ancient Jews in which they divided the universe into the earth, sea, and under the earth, while the sky was God’s domain.

Between the universe and the sky is separated by the rakya or the dome of the sky or firmament, this is almost the same as the Christian conception of the universe, while in Islam there is no clear argument that states a certain concept about the universe, especially regarding the shape of the earth because it is for world affairs in this case. The Prophet of Science stated,

“You know better about your worldly affairs” (Muslim)

Why did the Messenger of Allah say that? because science itself is dynamic, changing according to the times, the older the world, the more new discoveries will be made, for this reason the leaders and scholars of the Islamic caliphate era facilitated the scientists of their time to conduct research on science. The results of the research of these scientists then became one of the sources for scholars to issue fatwas.

So far, there have been many debates between flat-earth adherents and spherical-earth adherents based on the logical method. Now, this logical method can sometimes be right, but most of it is wrong, for example, why is the roof of the mosque in the shape of a dome? some argue that the shape of the mosque is generally in the form of a dome or dome as a sign of a celestial dome, namely the shape of the sky according to the flat earth version, this shows that Islam is very in line with the flat Earth theory, even though this is purely an architectural problem.

Leading architecture K Creswell in Early Moeslim Architecture revealed that the initial design of the Medina mosque in the era of the Prophet did not know the dome at all. The shape of the dome of the mosque that exists today was only applied during the construction of the Qubbat as Sakhrah mosque in Jerusalem long before the First Crusade took place. Then followed by making the dome on the Aqsa Mosque.

What is surprising is that in Indonesia, those who believe in a flat earth, especially those who are Muslim, have brought up the issue of aqidah to justify their theory, to the point of vilifying scholars and fellow Muslims who have opposing views, even though DS Shenton the originator of this theory in 1956 then his successor Charles K Johnson is a non-Muslim. Even Johnson himself founded a flat earth church called The International Flat Earth Research Society of America and Covenant People’s Church.

Most of the world’s scholars agree that the earth is round but for those who disagree, these scholars do not declare them to be infidels because the shape of the earth does not necessarily affect the quality of one’s faith. Whatever the shape of the earth as long as it doesn’t prevent us from carrying out Allah’s law, there is no need to argue and force an opinion on others.
