So far there is only one way to restore a banned Free Fire account, but luckily it can be done via an Android device without root.
This method has an 80% chance of success on the condition that your account is only suspended, not permanently banned.
Generally, the ban is given by Garena because players are detected as playing cheats, can use cheats or because of the use of third-party applications.
When your account is banned, you will usually get a notification that says “There is abnormal activity with your account and your account has been suspended Free Fire” as in the image below:

If it’s a new account that gets banned, it might not be a problem, but what if it’s an old account that has reached a high tier?
Obviously it’s a shame if you don’t try to retrieve the account, who knows later you can open and play again right?
Causes Free Fire Account Banned
Before going to the main discussion, it’s a good idea to understand what things can get a Free Fire account banned.
Generally there are 6 most common causes, any:
- Playing very badly and harming teammates.
- Speak dirty and rude while playing.
- Play using the Free Fire cheat.
- Play using third party applications.
- Too often AFK.
- Play with cheaters.
After knowing some of the causes above, you should avoid them so you don’t get banned again in the future.
How Long Does a Free Fire Account Ban Last?
How long an account is banned really depends on the violation committed, generally as in the discussion below:
- Banned for less than a week if the violation is Minor (eg toxic in game chat).
- Banned weeks to months if the offense is moderate (eg because it harms another player).
- Permanently banned (usually in the form banned device) if the violation is classified as serious, such as using a cheat.
Can a Banned Free Fire Account Come Back?
Well, this also really depends on the level of offense you commit.
So far it is still possible to unban an account, meaning that your account can still be returned.
However, specifically for banned devices, the method is a bit more complicated. I’ve made a tutorial in this article:
As long as the banned you experience is not a banned device, you can use the method I shared in this article.
Steps to Restore Banned Free Fire Account
So, on to the main topic…
The unbanned account method that I share in this article is to use the support feature provided by Garena.
Well, through this support feature you can send a report about the account that was banned.
How to? Please follow the steps below;
- First, make sure you still have access to the Garena, VK or Facebook account that was tied to the banned Free Fire account.
- Open the Garena Helpdesk web at the address: https://help.garena.co.id.
- Tap the button Login which is in the top right corner.

- Please select a login method, in this example I am using a Garena account.

- Enter login data and select Login Now.

- Have you logged in successfully? If so, please open the support page with the address: https://help.garena.co.id/ticket/create.
- You will be presented with a form to create a report, as shown in the image below:

- For columns 1, 2 and 3, please fill in according to the image below. Columns 4 and 5 fill in according to the details of the banned account.

- Finally, please tap the button Send.
Now, after the report has been successfully sent, all you have to do is wait for Garena’s response.
It usually takes a few days and you will get a decision regarding the banned actions your account received.
So that’s the discussion this time about how to restore a banned Free Fire account.
