One of the Facebook features that are sought after but very difficult to activate is the locked profile. It’s actually easy, it’s just that we don’t know the terms and conditions.

- Using VPN
- Via facebook settings (change language)
But first, let’s first know what is meant by locked facebook.
What is a locked profile facebook?
Locked profile facebook is a feature of facebook to restrict the public from viewing private account activity from posts, photos and stories. And for accounts that have been activated, there will be a locked profile logo in the profile section, just below the profile photo.

Trying to Change FB Profile So Locked
In this experiment, I followed the most discussed tutorial on google.
Here’s the process.
- Change facebook language to English (US)
- Go to the help center menu and type in the search “locked”
- Select it and go to the How do Locked Profile work?
- Scroll down and look for lock my profile and click tap here to activate locked profile facebook
After I tried the tutorial above it failed. Even though I have changed the language to English and entered the help center menu “How do Locked Profile work?” I can’t find the “tap here” button.
Do you think you know what causes it?
If you look at the first line in the page. There is an explanation”This feature isn’t available everywhere right now. You can only lock your profile in certain countries and on certain devices“. Which means that the locked profile can only be activated in certain countries.
And for now locked profile can only be activated for Bangladesh facebook account. That means our facebook account (Indonesia) cannot activate it.
Then how to make Indonesia’s Facebook account able to activate a locked Facebook profile?
When viewed from after the account activates a locked Facebook profile, the account will only hide the post timeline, photos and stories from the public, which means that only Facebook accounts with friends can see them.
All facebook accounts can also do it, just simply by changing all the options for public to for friends. Indirectly the account has activated a locked profile. It’s just that in the profile section there is no locked profile logo.
So to get the locked profile logo for facebook we have to create a Bangladesh facebook account first so that the locked profile option can appear.
Well, so far you already know right. The main requirement is to use a Bangladesh Facebook account.
To get this account, you can hack or create a new one using a Bangladesh VPN server.
So the complete guide you can follow the steps below.
How to Make Facebook Profile Locked
The point is to bring up the locked profile option. Then go to that option and activate the locked profile fb feature.
Because we live in Indonesia, there is no ‘locked profile’. This feature is only available in India and Bangladesh.
To make it look as if we are in Bangladesh, we have to use a VPN. Then we have to create a new facebook account, so that facebook considers our account a bangladesh account.
Here are the steps.
1. Use a bangladesh VPN server
You can download the vpn application on the playstore, but not all of them include the bangladesh server. As a recommendation you can use hola vpn, jam vpn, express vpn and hma vpn.

express and hma vpn are paid services, but we can get them for free for 7 days. So it can still be used.
After the VPN is activated, check whether the server is Bangladeshi?
The way you just write it on google check my ip location. Choose a website and see where you are currently still in Indonesia or have moved to Bangladesh.
If it still shows the Indonesian server, then the VPN is not working properly. Please use another better vpn.
Another recommendation you can use Nord VPN.
2. Create a Bangladeshi facebook account
This means that you will create a new Facebook account but the server that must be used is the Bangladesh server.
Because previously you have activated the VPN, so just log in to Facebook and select create a new account.
Make a facebook account using a browser not an application. Then do as usual, which is to enter your full name, date of birth, telephone number and new password. After completing registration, a Facebook account will be created, but you must enter a confirmation code.
On the Facebook page that asks for a verification code, don’t enter the code first. But first check whether the account is able to display the locked profile yet.
How: on the current page click the browser address box then write “locked profile fb”. Then select the first page (facebook) and see the results.
If the page shows “Locking your profile isn’t available to everyone”. Then the account that was previously created can activate a locked facebook profile.
But if the page still shows “This feature isn’t available everywhere right now“. So don’t finish creating the facebook account because the account can’t activate the locked profile.
All you have to do is create another Facebook account until it is checked on the How do Locked Profile work page? shows “Locking your profile isn’t available to everyone”.
I myself did a facebook account up to 3x. Luckily I used a free number from the 2nd line application, so I was able to create hundreds of fb accounts without a real number and email.
3. Go to the How do Locked Profile work?
After successfully creating a fb account that can activate a locked profile, you have to go to the How do Locked Profile work page? again. Scroll down until the “how i do unlock my profile” option appears.
Click the menu and click “tap here”. On the next page, press the locked my profile button to activate the locked facebook profile.
So far, you have successfully created a locked Facebook profile.
I think this tutorial is easy already because it’s not certain. So first we have to create a facebook account that can activate a locked profile. Then then go to the page How do Locked Profile work? and will definitely find the “tap here” option.
If you are still using an Indonesian Facebook account, you will never find the “tap here” option. The reason is because the account cannot activate the locked profile.
4. Complete your facebook profile so you don’t get checkpoints
This is only as optional. Usually, Facebook will detect the new account created, unlike before, which was still free to create an account. The goal is actually good, namely to detect whether it was you who created this account.
Although facebook checkpoints can be skipped, but in order not to waste the time that we use to create a bangladesh facebook account, it is better to complete the profile.

Latest Update: Make a locked facebook profile without VPN
This is the newest way to bring up the locked profile logo on your facebook profile. As the title implies, this time we will not use a VPN.
Here’s the complete tutorial.
1. Use the new fb lite app
New is meant just install. So it doesn’t have data or cache yet.
For those of you who already have fb lite, please delete the data and cache first in the settings.
2. Use another country’s language
For the country I do not understand. Maybe some of you understand, please write in the comments column.
The benchmark is the 7th order language from the bottom.
So the first time we open a new fb lite application, we have to choose a language. So, just choose the language that is numbered 7 from the bottom.

After that please login to your facebook account or create a new one.
3. Go to profile and enable locked profile feature
Please go to the Facebook profile section. Then press the dot icon 3 which is below the profile photo.
Several features will appear. Because the language is difficult for us to understand, so the benchmark is the logo.
Press the option that shows the shield logo. Then press the blue button again on the next page.
After this the locked profile is active.
4. Change language to Indonesian
To check whether it is active or not, please change the Facebook language back to Indonesian.
The trick is to press the menu (strip icon 3) in the upper right corner. Then press the language menu (Aa logo). Finally select Indonesian.
Next, go to the facebook profile section again and refresh (drag from top to bottom).
Or you can also check the three-dot menu under the photo. If there is an option to unlock the profile, it means that the locked profile facebook is already active.
Tips and tricks
