“No Escape” begins with Jack Dwyer (Owen Wilson) and his family moving to a country near Southeast Asia (intentionally not being named in the film). Jack finds a new job in the country, hoping to start a better life with his wife Anne (Bellek) and two little angels Lucy (Sirlings) and Bizet (Claire Gill).
Unfortunately, Jack arrives at the wrong time and does not find happiness in his new country, but he and his family experience misfortune. Jack’s arrival coincides with the coup, which leads to the assassination of the prime minister by a rebel group. The town begins to be attacked by riots, and Jack’s hotel is attacked by a group of strangers.
Every room was looted and non-locals were mercilessly killed. Fortunately, Jack and his family were able to escape to the roof of the hotel and survive the rampage of the cruel barbarians.
