Towards Ramadan, a mysterious guest named Surya Saputra came to the Sun House. This made Rina very worried, because she suspected that Umm Yoda was here to take one of her younger siblings. Rena also invites her siblings to be careful of Oom Yudha.
But Yoda still came every weekend and slowly developed a friendship between them. The atmosphere in the sun room began to change. Lena suddenly felt that she was very close to Umm Yoda, and she didn’t know why.

Film Review For Rena
This film becomes an interesting spectacle when we can see the interaction between Rena’s siblings. We would love to see people who live in villages taken to shopping malls in big cities. The film is set in an orphanage in Chipanas, West Java, and invites children from the original orphanage to appear as extras, playing the role of residents of Rumah Matahari. As a special appearance, Premier Chaplin who plays Pu Sodan was also present. If you forget, he is a man who was once mentioned as a storyteller for children, from Aceh. His appearance and role are reminiscent of the 2004 Aceh tsunami tragedy. At first we saw her as a complementary character, sharing the fairy tale exclusively with Rena and her sister. However, her experience will inspire Rena to decide what she makes at the end of the film. Not to forget, Sas Widjanarko alias Mang Saswi also appears in this film as a market thug who is feared by Rena’s sisters.
The purpose of this film is to be screened during Ramadan in the year it was released. Therefore, the film time setting is also used for the fasting month. We will see children’s activities at Rumah Matahari, such as breaking the fast together, sahur and reading the Koran. However, the story in the film does not discuss the children’s activities before fasting. We’ll only see them singing the Rumah Matahari theme song at the beginning of the film, and I don’t know what else to do after that. The eldest daughter Lena, who has lived in an orphanage since childhood, has a special relationship with Tia, the caretaker of the orphanage. The truth of their relationship will definitely be revealed at the end of the film. However, this film has no reason to support Tia so it doesn’t want to disappoint Reina, and even insists on its promise to Reina.
From Yoda’s point of view, this film tells of his efforts to win the hearts of the Rumah Matahari children, especially Rena. We will see him build a fish pond in the orphanage yard and take Rina and her sister for a walk in the city. The reason why he went there is explained at the beginning of the film. However, the script gave him no reason to go there and meet Rena at his age. Why not a few years ago? In addition, he also explains that past trauma has affected his current job, which his Japanese boss discovered. Why was the trauma only triggered now?
In answering Yudha and Rena’s relationship, this film provides two plot twists. The first one is easy to guess, because this film doesn’t intend to hide it from the audience, but slowly reveals Yoda and Tia’s true relationship. The second is surprise, which finally pushes the conflict in the film to a climax, which is also related to Rena. Contrary to the second plot, the script doesn’t give any hint of Rena’s emotions from the start of the film.
In fact, the film is about the process of two people finally finding their missing family member. Even if you get a solution. It’s often instant, and I still like this film because it doesn’t have a lot of drama. For example, like letting one of the characters experience a disaster. The script might do this in the second half, but the screenwriter doesn’t. Although the motives and emotions that I question have been explained above, I still give 6 out of 10 points for this film.
