The Mechanic . Movie Review
“The Mechanic” is a remake of the 1972 film. Even though it was produced in today’s modern environment, the core of the story still refers to the original film. This film is about a senior assassin. Violence and blood splatter certainly adorn this film, although not too dominant.
In this film, Statham can play Arthur very well. Statham’s calm expression can represent Arthur’s character who is a perfectionist when carrying out his duties. His duties were always carried out very neatly and he almost never made a mistake.
Arthur’s cruel character is combined with his hobby of always caring for his favorite car in the garage and the calm music he always listens to at home. Arthur’s character is in stark contrast to Ben Foster’s character Steve. Steve looks like an unruly and reckless person.
All the plans that Arthur had laid out in an orderly manner could fail because of Steve’s carelessness. Foster can also play the role of Steve very well. Overall, this film is still very interesting.
