Tips for creating a poll on WhatsApp – WhatsApp is indeed a chat application that is widely used today. On WhatsApp send, there are lots of features that we can enjoy when we are here. One of them is the group chat feature. But unfortunately WhatsApp doesn’t have the poll feature which is usually always there on other chat apps and chats that provide group chat features in it. Online, for example, there is a poll feature, as well as on Telegram. But don’t worry, even though WhatsApp doesn’t have the poll feature, we can still send polls on WhatsApp by using third party apps that we can download from the Play Store.
Create a poll on WhatsApp with the Voliz app
To create a poll on WhatsApp we need a third-party application that we can download for free on the Playstore. For the application, you can search in the play store itself or directly click this link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voliz. If you have successfully installed the app, follow the steps below.
- Open the “Voliz – Poll on WhatsApp” application on your phone. You can swipe sideways to the end point, then you will see a “Continue” button, tap the button.
- After that you will be asked to enter your active phone number to receive a confirmation number for app activation. If you have clicked send OTP.
- If you have received an SMS, please check the 6-digit code and fill it in the column provided. After that, tap the “Verify” button.
- If so, you will be taken to the home page of the application. To create a poll, please press the plus icon in the bottom center.
- After that, please fill in the question you want to ask. Then tap “add option” to add answer choices.
- After that, in the Add Options column, please fill in the answers to your questions. If so, please tap “Continue”.
- To date a poll has been created, but has not yet been distributed to WhatsApp. To share it on WhatsApp, tap on “share icon with WhatsApp logo”
- After that you will be taken to the selection page on your WhatsApp. Select one of your WhatsApp contacts or groups, then tap the “arrow icon” to send.
- After that you will be taken to your WhatsApp chat page, tap on the “plane icon” to send a poll. Do not edit the chat content, so that nothing goes wrong.
- You just have to wait for people viewing the poll to vote for it. They need to click on one of the links under each poll option.
- Finished.
If polling is no longer needed, you can disable polling in the Voliz application earlier. You can also view poll results statistics in the previous app.
How to view results, disable or delete polls
You can see the results of the polls you submitted, not only that, you can also deactivate the polls or even delete the polls you created earlier.
– Open the “Voliz – Poll on WhatsApp” application on your smartphone. Once on the main page of the app, you can tap on the poll you created earlier.
– After that you will be taken to the poll detail page, here are the poll results that you shared earlier.
– To disable polling, please go to the ‘settings’ menu and then tap the navigation button to disable it.
– Meanwhile, to delete it, open the settings menu, then select the “Delete poll” menu. After that in the confirmation box, you tap “Delete”.
