  1. First, make sure you already have a stock video in the gallery that will become a WA GIF.
  2. Second, go to chat WA homepage and select the chat friend you want to send a GIF to.
  3. Third, select the paperclip icon at the bottom right of your phone screen.
  4. Fourth, select the “gallery” icon on the right. Just above the “contact” icon.
  5. Next you will be directed to the gallery, open it and find the video that you want to convert into a GIF earlier.
  6. If you have chosen, the next step is to cut the video duration to 3 to 6 seconds. Why should it be trimmed? Because GIF WA is a moving image with a maximum duration of only 5-6 seconds. The way to trim it is to slide the white square over it. Drag the white box over the part of the video you want.
  7. After that, tap the GIF icon until the GIF button turns green.
  8. Once the video format is changed to GIF, you can decorate your GIF by adding funny text or emojis. The trick is to select the available features above.
  9. If you want to add text to the GIF, select the icon with the letter T. Next, you can add any text there and make the color according to the color options in the color panel on the right.
  10. If you want to add a funny emoji, select the icon with a face. Then you can choose from the various emojis available to add uniqueness to your GIF.
  11. You can also add scribbles to your hand by pressing the pencil icon located on the far right. You can be as creative as you want to produce interesting GIFs.
  12. Once the GIF has been created, the next step is to send it to the destination contact. You just need to press the send button with the paper airplane logo in the lower right corner of your phone screen. Look at the picture for more details.
  13. Now your GIF is ready and sent to the destination contact.
