This post discusses how to know who has viewed our Facebook story. If you post a Facebook story, it will appear at the top of your News Feed. If your friends post a story, their profile picture will appear there too. Stories that you haven’t seen will have a blue circle around them, and those you have seen will be gray. Select a profile picture to view their story, and Facebook will automatically play it. You can view and continue or send Direct Messages from within the window.
Unlike other social media, Facebook stories do not feature comments, likes or other interactions. Your only option is to message the person directly via Messenger.
If you’ve never or recently used FB Stories, you might be curious about who’s seen your stories. Therefore, here I will not only show you how to know who viewed your Facebook story, but also how to post a story. Go ahead, let’s get started!
How to Create a Facebook Story
If this is the first time for you and have never used FB Stories before, creating a FB story should only take a few seconds. Here’s how to create a story on Facebook.
Step 1. Open the Facebook site in your browser and select the icon plus ( + ) or click on the text Add to story.

Step 2. A FB Stories popup will open, here you can upload a picture or record a video or write something. (in this example I upload my own photo).
Step 3. make sure to tick on your storyusually by default the blue tick is active in your story section.
Step 4. Click Post. Your Facebook story will be live for 24 hours, just like the Snapchat version. People can see it and message you.

How to Know Who Has Viewed Our Facebook Stories
If you want to know who viewed your Facebook story, the social media site added this feature so that businesses can track the reach of their stories and so that individuals can see which friends are interested and which are not. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1. open Your story which you just created on Facebook.

Step 2. search eye icon on the right of the screen.
Step 3. Select that icon to know who has viewed your story.

Depending on your privacy settings, you can see Friends, Connections, and Random with Friends at the top. Either way, you can know exactly who has viewed your story and when.
Control Who Can View Our Facebook Stories
The same privacy options that you get with Facebook updates or posts are available in Facebook Stories as well. You can control who sees what by configuring stories before you post them.

Step 1. Select the down arrow next to your story.
Step 2. Select ” Public ” means anyone can see your story. Select ” Friend ” means that only your friends can see your story.
Step 3. select Post to publish your story.
Like other Facebook settings, settings “Public” makes your story available to anyone. Settings “Friend” Limit your story only to people who know you in other words friends who are connected to your Facebook account.
You can also change this setting, even after your story is published.
Step 1. select Your story.
Step 2. Select the three-dot menu icon and then Edit Story Settings.
Step 3. Change the settings as above and hit Save.
Those are the basics of Facebook Stories. It’s a simple feature that adds another dimension to social networks, even if it’s a “blatant” copy of someone else’s idea!
