How to See Everyone in a Zoom Meeting.| Zoom is the video conferencing giant of today. The free version allows up to 100 participants to join the meeting (the paid version lets you add more), so you can call multiple people for free.
This app has several kickass features. From hosting zoom meetings to letting you change your background so that you can hold meetings in the comfort of your messy room, it has revolutionized the way businesses view online communication.
In this article, I share a tutorial on how to see everyone in a Zoom meeting by accessing the gallery view. It will help you interact with up to 49 Zoom users on a single screen.
What is Gallery View on Zoom?
Gallery View is a feature in Zoom that lets you view multiple participants in a grid depending on the number of participants in the meeting and the device you are using.
The grid on your PC Zoom app will continue to add video feeds as people join and leave the meeting. If you have a modern desktop PC then you can display up to 49 participants in one grid. If you have more than 49 participants then skip to next page of gallery view to see more participants. You can move between pages using left and right arrows on the screen.
Android and iPhone users can only see 4 participants at a time on their mobile screen. While iPad users can view up to 9 participants at once.
See Everyone on Zoom (Desktop Version)
1. Download the Zoom application for desktop.
2. After installing, launch this app.
3. Start the meeting by pressing Startor join if there is an invite code.
4. If you are the one starting the meeting, make sure to send a Zoom invite.
5. Once there are more than 2 people in the meeting, in the upper right corner click Viewthen click Gallery.
PS: Zoom only supports viewing up to 49 people on a single screen. Exceeded numbers are shown on a separate page.
See Everyone on Zoom (Android Version)
1. Download the Android Zoom application, on the PlayStore it is called Zoom Cloud Meetings.
2. Open the app, and just like in the desktop version, start or join a meeting.
3. Sliding Appearance Default Active Speaker to switch to View Gallery.
PS: Zoom mobile version, you can see up to 4 Zoom users on one screen. To see the next 4 participants, swipe left.
Things to Know about Zoom Gallery View
By page support zoom, the gallery view is flexible and has the capacity to switch between thumbnails and grids depending on the number of participants entering and leaving the chat room. And if you use dual monitors, even then you will have support for 49 users on both screens, no more than that.
To make sure your computer can handle this user load, make sure you have: Intel i7 processor or equivalent, ad-core processor for single monitor, or aq-core processor for dual monitors, and Zoom Client 4.1.x 0.0122 or later.
