What is Samsung Cloud?

Samsung Cloud is a cloud-based storage service that allows users to store files not only on their phones but also on the internet. This app-based service from Samsung offers you to back up relevant data and documents on the web without worrying about losing them when your phone crashes.

There are three plans from which you can choose, basic plan, 50 GB plan, and 200 GB plan. The basic plan is free for Samsung users. The 50 GB plan costs $ 0.99 per month and the 200 GB plan costs 2.99 $ per month.

Delete Samsung Cloud Account From Your Phone

One can delete the Samsung Cloud account from their phone and all saved data will be lost. To delete Samsung Cloud account completely, follow the steps given below:

1. Visit Samsung’s official website from here.
2. On the Samsung account window, enter your email id and password to log in.
3. Find and select Profile Card. (Profile cards are pictures of users with their names and email addresses.
4. Now click on the tab Samsung account settings and then click on Delete account.
5. A circle confirming whether you know the conditions for deleting your account will appear. Tick and click Delete.

PS: By deleting your Samsung Cloud account, you will lose all data, purchase history, subscription and profile information. It will not be recovered once it is deleted. Therefore, make sure before deleting your Samsung Cloud account, download all the necessary files that you want.

Delete Files From Samsung Cloud

1. Navigate to options Arrangement on your phone.
2. then search Accounts & backup and tap on it.
3. Now open Samsung Cloud menu and enter your login credentials. (login ID and password).
4. Tap Samsung Cloud Drive. A list of files currently stored in the Cloud will appear. You can delete one by one or several at once by selecting them.
Once selected, tap wipe.

Delete Backup Data From Samsung Cloud

1. Go to options Arrangement on your phone and tap to open it.
2. Find and open Accounts & Backup.
3. Here open Samsung Cloud and then click Delete backup.

PS: When a Samsung Cloud account has not been accessed for more than 12 months, it will be automatically deleted. This includes the disappearance of all your data stored in a particular account.

However, if you enable the auto-sync function, it will keep the account active and will not let the above-mentioned happen.

Samsung Cloud is an app that comes in handy when users need temporary storage on their phones. Although, no matter how helpful it may be, there is still a copy of your data online. And not everyone likes their copies of important files flowing over the internet.
