Currently, Clubhouse does not offer features for in-app messages, therefore, to interact with others, you have to join a room in Clubhouse. When you join a room, you will be positioned in the listener section by default.
On the listener’s side, you don’t have the option to speak and just be a spectator. To interact with other people, you can go on stage and join other speakers.
Often times, you will be in a room with some of your friends and may want to ask a question. In some cases, you might want to share your experience with your friends on the topic being discussed. To do all this, you need to know how to get on stage.
How to Talk in the Clubhouse Room
There are two ways that you can talk in the Clubhouse Room, which are first namely with the Raise Hand feature and the second is when the moderator invites you to speak. Let’s see how both work.

️ Hands Up and Moves to the Speakers
When you are in the listening section, tap the icon Raise your hands in the lower right corner of the screen. Once you tap on it, the room moderator will receive a notification that you have raised your hand. If they accept your request, you will automatically go on stage.
Once on stage, remember to follow etiquette and maintain a systematic conversation.
When the Moderator Invites You to Speak
There are times when a moderator invites you to the stage to share views or interact with others. In this case, you will receive a notification at the top that you have been invited to join as a speaker. To start talking, tap an option Join as speaker in the upper right corner.
Once you tap on this option, you will be positioned along with other speakers and moderators on the stage.
Now that you are on stage, start interacting with others, make personal and professional connections, create and share ideas, and learn from the experiences of others.
