Before we get started, keep in mind that currently the new add text to PDF file feature is available in Edge Dev and Canary builds. If you want to try this feature, please download the Dev and Canary versions of Edge browser from here.

1. First of all, right click on the PDF file that you want to add text to and select Open With > Microsoft Edge. You can also drag and drop PDF files to the Edge browser.

2. On Edge PDF editor, you need to click on the button ” Add text ” , as shown in the screenshot below.

3. Now you will see a floating text box along with the formatting options. The text box will have three options – Text color, Text size, Text spacing options.

4. Next, click on the section where you want to add new text. Start typing the text that you want to add.

5. If you want to change the color, click on the color options shown below and select the color of your choice.

6. To adjust the text size, you need to click on the button ” increase or decrease ” . To enlarge the text click the button increasewhile to shrink the text press the button decrease.

7. The text box also has a text space option. You can adjust text spacing to give space between letters.

8. When finished editing, click the icon ” save ” in the upper right corner to save the PDF document.
