On the title Game Developer Conference (GDC) 2022 in San Francisco. There are so many nominees for the games that are championed will win awards for this year as best games 2022.
Of the several names mentioned, for example Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Rocket League, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and BloodBorne. There is only one award that can be given for this year.
And finally, the winner is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Game made CD Project RED it managed to get an award after outperforming the other names I have mentioned.
Last year, the same award was won by Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor which has almost the same characteristics as Lord of the Rings. Not only won Game Of The Year, The Witcher 3 is also the best in the Best Technology award. The Open-world style game that you can explore anywhere beats the Star Wars Battlefront Game and beats Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid V again.
Meanwhile, Rocket League had to be content with bringing home the award in the best Design category.
The Witcher does seem powerful here, not without reason. For those of you who have played The Witcher 3, I think you definitely know the reason, the cool Story Line combined with the very stunning Render Engine made many gamers fall in love with it.
