Final Fantasy VII Remake currently under development Square Enix. Now, there’s news saying that Square Enix got reinforcements from CyberConnect2, the game developer behind the Naruto Manga Adaptation, namely the Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
We got this news from the interview results of Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura. From the interview conducted by the Japanese media, Famitsu, Producer and Director of Final Fantasy VII Remake has confirmed the involvement of CyberConnect2 Game Studio in developing the game they are working on at Square Enix.
You need to know, the collaboration carried out by CyberConnect2 and Square Enix is not the first time this has been done. Previously CyberConnect2 also helped create the Final Fantasy Series, or more precisely Final Fantasy VII G-Bike which was worked on for the Mobile platform.
CyberConnect2 President Hiroshi Matsuyama has also said that he and his team would like to be involved in this project that many fans have been waiting for. “Right now I’m very focused on working on Naruto and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Because working on a new game project takes time. However, even if I wanted to work on a new game project, at least it would be a remake of Final Fantasy VII,” Matsuyama said to Dual Shockers at that time.
Talking about the development of Final Fantasy VII Remaki, when it was first announced at E3 2022, President of CyberConnect2 Hiroshi Matsuyama once said that he and his team wanted to be involved in this remake project.
“Right now I’m very focused on working on Naruto and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Because working on a new game project takes time. However, even if I wanted to work on a new game project, at least it would be a remake of Final Fantasy VII,” Matsuyama told Dualshockers at the time.
CyberConnect2 is currently preparing to launch the New Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Series. This game will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows (PC). Their newest game is rumored to be released next year, more precisely in February 2022.
GamePlay Final Fantasy VII Remake
Square Enix has also released a trailer showing the gameplay of this Final Fantasy VII Remake.
