It's Revealed, This Is Cavill's Paid To Cameo Superman in DCU!
Most of us have probably heard the unfortunate news that Henry Cavill will no longer be reprising his role as Superman in the DC Universe. Though he just did an important cameo as Superman in Black Adam credit scene and was also reported to have shot a cameo for the film The Flash future. Interestingly, despite the bad news, a recent report has revealed that the fee for each Superman Cavill cameo in the DCU is quite fantastic.
For those who don’t know, yesterday Cavill announced via his social media account that his role as live action Superman in the DCU cinema universe has come to an end. Through a long message he wrote, Cavill said that he understood and appreciated DC Sudios’ decision to build a new cinema universe. On the other hand, he also advised his fans not to be too sad because basically Superman is still there, as well as the values he fought for.
Not long after the touching message from Cavill, Umberto Gonzales from The Wraps shared an interesting tweet that revealed Cavill’s fee for doing a Superman cameo in the DCU. “Cavill was paid $250,000 for his cameo in Black Adam and another $250,000 for the now-deleted Clark Kent scene at the ending of The Flash.” wrote Gonzales on account Twitter personal.
If this latest news can be justified, it means that we can conclude that for every cameo as Superman in the DCU, Cavill gets paid more than 3.9 billion rupiah per appearance. As for the cameo in The Flashes, even though it might not be shown, Cavill still has an additional pocket of around 3.9 billion rupiah. It’s quite clear that this value is fantastic, because in Black Adam credit scene only appearance may only be less than 1 minute.
Unfortunately, despite his huge payday, now every Cavill’s Superman cameo has little to no effect on the future of the DCU. Because DC Studios CEO James Gunn has confirmed that at the start of the new year he will soon announce a young Superman reboot film as well as other projects. So even though later Cavill’s Superman cameo was featured in the film The Flashes, which will be released on June 16 2023, this is nothing more than fan service as well as farewell to fans.
