In the World Cinema Week Film Festival starting on October 22, 2022, there is one film that is most awaited, namely Triangle of Sadness. Events which presents the best films from 38 countries, has received positive appreciation from film lovers.
At the World Cinema Week event, the film directed by Ruben Ostlund will premiere at CGV on October 23 and 30, 2022. Amazingly, the film’s ticket sales sold out within 10 minutes of opening sales.

KlikFilm’s director, Frederica, expressed his gratitude for the appreciation given to the films presented at World Cinema Week. “Thank you for the appreciation given. Not just movies Triangle of Sadness which received a positive appreciation. Three Thousand Years of Longing and Rebel also finished. For Holly Spiderand other films, ticket sales have almost run out,” he said in a release statement (21/10).
In line with Frederica, Director of the World Cinema Week Film Festival, Sandy Gasela also revealed that many have been waiting for films to be shown at this festival.
“The films that are present at World Cinema Week are indeed films that have been eagerly awaited to be shown in Indonesia. We hope that this event can be a bridge for film lovers, to be able to watch quality films,” he said.

For your information, Triangle of Sadness is a satirical film that tells the story of fashion models Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean) who are invited on a luxury yacht cruise.
When the cruise ship sinks, they are stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a female janitor. In their struggle for survival, the old hierarchy is reversed as the female janitor becomes the only person who knows how to fish.
This film made it into the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and received a standing ovation for eight minutes and won the Palme d’Or, the most prestigious award in the world film industry.
