What is Telkomsel Monetary and How to Use It?
When I opened the MyTelkomsel application on my Smartphone, I was surprised to find a new menu, namely Monetary, and this feature was still very foreign to me.
We all know that Telkomsel is one of the most well-known providers, even though it has the largest number of users in Indonesia. Of course they continue to strive to provide good service.
Not only services, there must also be new innovations by presenting cool features that can be used by users. One of them is presenting Monetary, which is a relatively new menu and not many Telkomsel users know how to use it.
What is Monetary Telkomsel?
Moneytary on my telkomsel is a bonus credit given by Telkomsel for purchasing credit or certain packages. In simple terms, the definition of Menetary Telkomsel is one type of quota that is given in the form of pulses in rupiah units.
This credit bonus will be seen in nominal form, for example Rp. 10,000 and can be used only to make calls or send SMS to other Telkomsel numbers. So you need to know that this bonus cannot be used to buy internet packages or the like.
How to Use Monetary Telkomsel
The way to use Telkomsel’s monetary credit is the same as when you use regular (regular) credit, you only use it like making calls and SMS. However, SMS and calls can only be used to other Telkomsel numbers, not to other operators.
That way your Telkomsel monetary credit will be reduced, only after it runs out, the regular credit will be used.
Regarding the phone and SMS tariff scheme, monetary credits are the same as regular credits. So you don’t have to worry about this, but it’s a shame that monetary credit is only limited to that and can’t be used to buy internet packages and others.
Because we know for ourselves that nowadays we rarely use the phone and SMS features, what we often use is WhatsApp for both calling and sending messages.
How to Check Telkomsel’s Monetary Credit
In order to provide good service for the needs of Telkomsel customers, we present the MyTelkomsel application which can be downloaded by Android and iPhone. It has various features such as checking credit, active period, internet quota and monetary credit and provides a good experience in terms of appearance.
To check your monetary credit, simply enter the application and select internet, there will be 5 menus lined up, namely Internet, Multimedia, Voice, SMS and Monetary. Please select monetary to check your bonus credit.
If you have monetary credit, several numbers will appear in the menu. If it’s not there, you don’t have it yet.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Monetary Telkomsel
The advantage of Telkomsel’s monetary credit bonus is that we can use it to make calls and sms with other Telkomsel numbers. This will certainly be very helpful if we do not have regular credit and in an emergency, for example, want to contact a relative to buy an internet package.
But of course there are drawbacks to this service, we can’t use it to buy internet packages and the like. Moreover, in an era like today it is very “rare” to use the phone and sms features on their cellphones, most of them have switched to WhatsApp because it is cheaper and simpler.
How to Get Monetary Credit?
It is important to know, monetary credit cannot be purchased and there is no menu to buy it. But we can still get it by buying products that have a monetary credit bonus.
