To overcome these causes, first find out the SMSC of the Indosat card, namely: +62816124 / +6285500000

Then enter the SMSC menu by following the method below:

  • Type *#*#4636#*#*, after typing the last *, you will automatically be taken to network settings.
  • Select ‘Phone Information / Device Information’.
  • Scroll down and look for the SMSC menu.
  • Enter the Indosat SMSC number above, +62816124 / +62855000000.
  • Then click ‘Update/Update’.
  • Refresh your phone, try to check whether it can receive messages or not.

5. Your Number May Be Inactive

Check whether your number is still active or not by checking it in the dial up menu. Press *123#, then select the ‘Status and Info’ menu, then select ‘Check Status’.

Later, information on the status of the active period will appear, the status for when the card is active, and a description of whether the Indosat card is still active or not. You can also check in the MyIM3 application or SMS. Easier to do directly in the dial up menu.
