GridGames.ID – As part of the “Esports for Everyone” program, Moonton and Cyberathlete are working together to present the Collegiate Mobile Legends World Championship 2021-2022 competition.

The competition featured teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.

Following the success of last year’s Collegiate Valorant Invitational, Cyberathlete Collegiate Mobile Legends aims to attract the eSports market in Southeast Asia.

Especially for the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) which was very popular and had amassed 100 million views during the M2 Championship competition.

Moonton and Cyberathlete aim to penetrate the college or student market and partner with local eSports organizations from each of the 4 regions of the country.

  • Malaysia – E-Stars Nation
  • Philippines – National Esports Federation of Philippines (NESFP)
  • Singapore – Singapore’s Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA), Singapore Esports Association (SGEA)

The competition starts in May 2021, the registered teams will start their journey in the local qualifiers.

The top 16 teams from each qualifying country will continue to compete in the regional trial rounds.
