Animeland Festival will be held next month.
GridGames.ID – The event management company PK Entertainment together with the ticketing platform GoTix, which is part of the Gojek ecosystem, announced that it would present the Animeland Festival.
The one-stop J-Pop festival which focuses on Anime, J-Pop, Cosplay, and Esports, is an offering for fans of Japanese culture throughout Indonesia.
The Animeland Festival will take place online or virtual from August 21 – 22, 2021.
The special event will feature various entertainers and brands from Indonesia and Japan.

Through Animeland Virtual City, viewers can feel the atmosphere like in Akihabara, which is a well-known electronic shopping district in Tokyo, in a virtual form.
In addition, other typical districts in Japan will also be shown, which are famous for maid cafes and shops that are very close for anime and video game lovers.
Overall, this collaborative event offers a variety of content throughout the two-day festival, such as shopping, talk shows with content creators, performances by Anime Kepang artists, as well as competitions in various eSports tournaments.
All of these performances are specially designed for fans of Japanese culture which is growing in Indonesia.
