In 2021, Google removed the button View picture which is located in the options next to the image you are looking for. This feature is typically used to view original size images and can be downloaded directly.

It’s still unclear why the button was removed, but it seems that Google is more respectful of the sites that provide the image, so someone doesn’t download it right away, but visits the page.

But with the elimination of this function, the image searches on Google no longer seem to make sense, as they are later directed to a page and not to an image in its original size. But there is a way you know to make the button reappear.
