Why is it not possible to update manually?

There are times when you encounter another problem but manually updating the VLC Player program fails in the middle. This is usually caused by installation files got to execute as administrator.

So, right click on the VLC player file that you downloaded earlier and then choose the option Execute as administrator. Then continue with the update process. And of course the process will now be smooth.

The update process can basically be carried out without uninstalling the program. Because the installation file overwrites the old file directly with the new one.
