How to set the screen dimming time on the laptop
There are settings on the PC to adjust many things about the screen display. Examples include adding wallpaper, screen savers, brightness, and more. You can find these in the Personalize section. Tap “What if” is set to dim the screen time so the user can make it longer or faster as desired. This feature is not found in the Personalize section, but in other sections of the PC.
Someone left the screen on for a longer period of time so that the download process can continue even if you are absent for a long time. But that’s not all, the use of the screen remains. Screen that suddenly turns off on this PC because the device has entered the process idle or with the intention not to be used within the prescribed time. And the meaning of not used is no touch keyboard and mouse.
To set it faster or longer, you can name the settings Energy options. As per the title that I’m only going to release to laptops here, and it seems that it can be used for computers too, but this method works on computers with Windows operating systems. Well here is the procedure for setting the screen dimming time on a laptop. And here the darkened screen does not mean that the brightness is reduced, but the screen is no longer visible, but the system is still on.
Please enter first Energy options in the START menu and click ENTER.
Next, the user will be directed to the Power Usage Settings section. So just click on the text Change plan settings in addition to the profile used. Here is an example that I’m using a profile Balanced.
Then the user can now set the screen dimming time by adding to the section Turn off the screen. There will be 2 options between Battery powered and Plugged in. The meaning of On Battery is when the laptop is using the battery for power consumption. As for plugged in, the laptop is charging. So adjust as needed.
DESCRIPTION: An example of the above picture is that I use 25 minutes to process the screen dimming when the laptop is using battery power. In the meantime, I’ve set the screen dimming process to 1 hour when the laptop is charged. This is because I use my laptop more often while charging than on battery power.
While laptops can live without a battery, namely while charging, it is a wrong choice for the user to remove the battery when using a charger as it can be damaged at any time. A darkened screen interferes with the download process and so on Just like a cell phone downloading something with the screen off, the connection will certainly be reduced and not as fast as usual.
