OVO is a very popular online wallet service in Indonesia. Currently, OVO has partnered with several cellular cards to simplify the payment process. One of them is the Telekomsel Card.

Now users can pay with OVO in the My Telekomsel application. Of course, the subtracted balance is exactly the same as the nominal value shown on the product page, that is, there is no such addition PPN again.

In addition, you can also use OVO points you know too. So if you have a lot of points on OVO, you can use them to pay for something on My Telekomsel. Be it credit, data packages and so on.

Tutorial on how to pay for my Telekomsel with OVO

Before you talk about it, you should know that not all products on My Telkomsel can be bought with OVO. So only certain products, such as credit, data packages, etc. However, it is possible that OVO will support all products in the future.

How to buy products on My Telkomsel using the OVO payment method:

  1. Open the My Telekomsel application.

  2. Select the product that you want to buy, for example a package Night internet.

  4. Then please select the payment method OVO.

  7. A confirmation message will appear from OVO, please open it.

  8. Now you can choose whether you want to pay with OVO Cash or OVO Points.

  9. And tap the button BAYAR Forward payments.

  10. Done, product purchase was successful.

You will receive a notification in the My Telkomsel application that the payment was successful and that the purchased product is active immediately. And in my own experience, the process of receiving the product is instant, that is, it does not take long after the payment is successful.

Payment solution successful, but product not received

To be honest, I have never experienced this type of problem, but most likely the problem is caused by the My Telkomsel server which is currently experiencing an error or temporary interruption. To do this, please wait a few minutes until you receive the product you have purchased.

But if you have waited a long time, say 1 hour, and have not received the product, it would be much better if you contact the telecom operator and explain the problem. Don’t forget to attach Proof of payment that appear in the OVO history.

However, when purchasing products on My Telkomsel, OVO can actually be used not all products that supports this payment method.
