How to force a program to use the Nvidia GPU
Have you ever opened a program or game that the Nvidia GPU on your computer / laptop did not recognize? So the program uses integrated graphics which is not optimal for the purposes. But with a bit of pressure, the Nvidia GPU can certainly be used for the program.
The meaning of “force” is here good action so that the program can run at the same time as the Nvidia GPU. Some examples like the Adobe Photoshop program not recognizing the Nvidia GPU on the computer can now be forced to allow the GPU to run on the Photoshop program.

How to force programs to use the Nvidia GPU

In this tutorial, the setting is made so that a program is not set to Auto and uses the Nvidia GPU directly. Please see and practice the following steps:
On the desktop, please Right click and choose NVIDIA Control Panel.
Click on the menu Manage 3D settings.
Then in the “I want to use the following 3D settings“Please select
Program Settings
.Select the program. And then put it as High performance NVIDIA processor.
The final step, click the button
Apply
and run the program.
Now the program can safely and correctly recognize the Nvidia GPU. However, if it is still not recognized, please restart your computer first and then run the program.

You just need to change the Nvidia settings for certain programs from Auto to Nvidia GPU only. Typically, GPU stats can also be viewed through Task Manager to review the load.
And if there isn’t an NVIDIA Control Panel option on the desktop, right-click the Nvidia icon on the toolbar and then select NVIDIA Control Panel.
