Handy solution cannot receive SMS messages

Since the chat application, many people have started to leave SMS messages because they prefer free services. Even so, depending on the operator, the price of SMS messages for Indonesian cellular cards is not expensive.

So far, problems with SMS messages have rarely been seen. And even if that happened, the odds would be approximate undelivered SMS messages. However, a serious problem is that you cannot receive SMS messages on your mobile phone.

Such incidents can indeed make you dizzy, especially after trying different routes but to no avail. However, there is one way that I think is effective in solving this problem. And all of that is shared in this article.

Overcome phone cannot receive SMS

1. Check the SMS center in the settings

The first solution is to check SMS center in the message settings. Is it set up properly? And you can ask the operator of the relevant card for the correct SMS center code.

To set up the SMS Message Center, please go to the Messaging app and then to Settings. There, look for the Message Center option. Examples are as shown below:

Check the SMS message center

Since phones have different menus, I cannot provide exact steps on how to change the SMS message center. But the option is definitely available on all phones and is in the messaging settings.

2. Make sure the recipient’s number is unlocked

Some phones have a security feature that blocks spam messages. And what is usually blocked is the number so that users no longer receive messages from that number all the time.

Anyone who knows the recipient’s number will be blocked so that you cannot receive SMS from them. Please check this in the messaging app’s lock settings.

If you have previously installed a number blocking application, please try. Disabled person First. Because that is the possibility that means that the message does not get into his cell phone.

3. Restart the phone

Restarting your phone is also a pretty effective way to ensure that a system malfunction is causing this problem. Since no system is perfect, it can become problematic at any time.

Rebooting or rebooting the phone may cause these malfunctions to go away. In addition, the network of the cellular network is also updated.

In addition to restarting the phone, you can also try installing the card on another phone to make sure that the problem doesn’t come from the cell phone that you normally use.

4. Possible problems

If it happens problem or interference should the same occur with other telephones using the same card. So try to ask friends or relatives who are using the same card. Do you have this problem too?

If it happens problem, then you just have to wait for the carrier to fix this problem. And usually this only takes about 1 to 2 hours, after which the network returns to normal.

5. Contacting the cellular card operator

If all of the above have been followed and the SMS message still hasn’t arrived, the last method is Contact Support service or the operator of each card.

You can contact the card operator via social media such as Facebook or Twitter. Of course, you will need some details such as the date of the incident, mobile phone number, etc. Please follow the procedure outlined there.

In summary, it can be said that SMS messages can be received normally as long as the settings of the message center are set correctly and the recipient’s number is not blocked on the phone. I highly recommend doing the above solutions from the first point for the results to be effective.
